INTOS signs ESG policy: a strong commitment to sustainability

At INTOS, we have been taking steps towards sustainability for years, but now we have officially enshrined our efforts in our ESG policy: INTOSustainability. By signing this policy, we affirm our commitment to a sustainable future and take our responsibility as interior designers to contribute to a better world.

A meaningful milestone

Signing of INTOSustainability is not just a formality, but an important milestone for our company. This policy, an amalgamation of 'INTOS' and 'Sustainability', forms the basis of our strategy on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG). This underlines our commitment to making sustainable choices in our operations, projects and collaborations.

By signing INTOSustainability, we commit to seven pillars that guide our sustainability ambitions.

Our commitment in action

By signing INTOSustainability, we promise not just fine words, but action. This means setting concrete targets, measuring and improving. An example of this is our ambition to improve our CO₂ emissions to be reduced by 60% by 2030 compared to 2023 and to operate completely fossil-free by 2035. We also continue to invest in circular processes, sustainable innovations and transparency towards our customers and partners.

The signing of the policy was done by (from left to right in the above image) Robert Mollee, Sustainability Director, Hans Matze, Operations Director, Ronald Bregman, Business Unit Director and Diederik Hein, Managing Director. Their joint commitment underlines the integral role of sustainability within INTOS and the ambition to make responsible choices at every level of the organisation.

Robert Mollee explains about ESG policy

Together we make impact

Sustainability is a joint effort. Therefore, we invite our customers, suppliers and employees to actively contribute to the objectives in our ESG policy. Together, we can make a positive impact on the interior design industry and contribute to a circular economy.

By signing INTOSustainability, we are taking a clear step towards a future where sustainability and craftsmanship go hand in hand. This is not an end point, but a beginning.
