Where there is a lack of space and safety for people and processes is paramount, sliding wall doors are often chosen. This often saves crucial space, as it eliminates the need to place barriers in front of the door. As a result, the corridor retains its full width, which is pleasant for manoeuvring patient beds properly, for example. Also, sliding dust displacement is prevented. These sliding doors are also safer and less vulnerable. INTOS is experienced in manufacturing and installing such sliding doors in various healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, retirement homes, laboratories and private clinics.
INTOS' sliding doors are standard products made of wooden panels, within which there are still various options to choose from. For instance, we supply both manually operated and electric sliding doors. In the case of electric sliding doors, the control system can be set on the basis of a card reader, foot sensor or fingerprint system, for example, depending on the building management system. In terms of dimensions, we use two sizes that are tailored to the two standard passage sizes of 90 cm or 120 cm. Further details, such as integrating glass or locks in the doors, can also be discussed at any time.
Because we only work with regular suppliers, we also offer service and maintenance services after installation. All parts of the sliding doors in the wall, such as the motor, guide wheels and rails, are easily replaceable. As a result, the wall never has to be demolished and repairs can be carried out quickly.
