HRF - Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

INTOS realised various counter solutions within HRF for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. In collaboration with the design team from Bsquared and Benthem Crouwel NACO, we took care of the engineering, production and installation of multiple counters, tailored to the intensive airport environment and the high demands for functionality, safety and appearance.

Schiphol required counters that:

Optimal functioning in a 24/7 operation with high passenger flows;
Be ergonomic and user-friendly for employees;
Robust, easy to maintain and durable in terms of material selection and finish;
Seamlessly connecting with the design and spatial experience of HRF;
Efficient to install with minimal impact on daily operations.

INTOS was responsible for:

technical engineering and detailed design;
in-house customised production;
logistical coordination and assembly/installation on site.

Result
The result is a set of counters that are both aesthetically and operationally sound: seamlessly integrated into the design, built for intensive use and executed with an eye for detail. Thanks to the combination of engineering expertise, customised production and careful installation planning, the project was completed smoothly within the dynamic environment of Schiphol Airport.
